Privacy Statement

Last updated: 24 August 2026

This statement explains what information we collect when you use bostonbioprocess.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Who we are

Boston Bioprocess, Inc. operates this website. This statement explains what information we collect when you visit bostonbioprocess.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with.

Information you give us

If you fill in our contact form, we collect the information you enter so we can respond to your enquiry:

  • Your name and work email address
  • Your company name
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • Your message, if you choose to write one
  • How you heard about us, which you select from a list

How we use it

We use the details you submit to reply to you, to answer questions about our services, and to keep a record of the enquiry. Contact form submissions are sent to us by email using Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Email Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the details you submit to send you marketing you have not asked for.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, we collect some information automatically to understand how the site is used and how people find us. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, along with Google Ads and the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

This is collected using cookies and similar browser storage, and may include:

  • Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
  • Your approximate location, derived from your IP address, at city level
  • The type of device, browser and operating system you use
  • The website, search engine or advertisement that brought you here
  • An advertising click identifier, if you arrived from one of our Google Ads

Advertising measurement

We advertise on Google. To measure which advertisements lead to enquiries, our Google tag uses a Google Ads feature called enhanced conversions. When you submit a form, your email address is converted into an irreversible code (a hash) on your device and sent to Google, which compares it against its own records to confirm whether an advertisement led to your enquiry.

Google does not receive your email address itself, only that code, and we do not receive any additional information about you in return.

How we know where enquiries come from

When you arrive on the site we store information about how you got here — the advertisement you clicked, or the campaign link you followed — in your browser for the duration of your visit. If you then submit the contact form, that information is included with your enquiry.

This tells us which of our marketing efforts are working. It is stored in your browser only for the current session and is discarded when you close it.

Who we share information with

We share information with the service providers that help us run this site and our marketing:

  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads), for measurement and advertising
  • LinkedIn, which receives information about your visit so we can measure our LinkedIn advertising and reach similar people
  • Amazon Web Services, which delivers contact form submissions to us by email

Your choices

You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can control the advertising you see through Google's own ad settings.

If you would like us to delete the details you sent us through the contact form, email us at the address below and we will do so.

How long we keep it

If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we are working together, and for seven years afterwards in line with normal business and tax record retention.

If you get in touch but we do not go on to work together, we keep your details for three years after we last had meaningful contact with you, and then delete them. Our sales cycles are long, so this is deliberately generous — it means we still have your details if you come back to us a year or two later.

Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on our Google Analytics property.

If you would like your details removed sooner, email us at the address below and we will do so.

Where we operate

This site is intended for visitors in the United States, and information we collect is processed there. We do not currently direct this site or our advertising at visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this statement does not describe rights under the GDPR.

Children

This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this statement

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We would encourage you to check it from time to time.
